Admission To Ellis University

Enrolling at Ellis University is easy. The university follows a 16-week trimester system and our academic year consists of the fall, winter and spring trimesters. That means you have the opportunity to start three times per year.

In addition, each trimester has additional starting points for new students and students who have been out of attendance for more than one year, at the 5th (12-week courses) and 11th (6-week courses) weeks. For more information about these additional starting points, speak with an academic advisor.

Ellis University offers courses in an accelerated format. Therefore, we recommend that students do not enroll in more than three classes per trimester. Those who wish to enroll in more that three courses in a trimester need the approval of the chief academic officer.
